Customers looking for an outdoor rated meter can now order the SEL-734 pre-wired into an outdoor enclosure. The $995 ordering option includes a fiberglass enclosure, test switch, pre-wired PT and CT connections, two DIN rails, and wall-mount brackets. The enclosure supports both the horizontal and vertical meter chassis and is factory tested for Form 5 and Form 9 wiring configurations.
This durable enclosure will not rust and includes a four-point lockable stainless steel latching system. The enclosure is fully sealed and complies with NEMA 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 12, and 13; IEC 529; and IP66 protection requirements.
Upon request, SEL will mount and wire accessories such as a SEL-3022 wireless encrypting transceiver, SEL-2401 satellite-synchronized clock, or a low-voltage DC power supply.
